Dimitrij was founded as a collective of five individuals in spring 2005. Mixing the member's various musical influences resulted in a unique brand of explosive Screamo/Posthardcore, meaning: none of the usual Underoath clones. Their from ebullition bands influenced sound can be located somewhere between the soundscapes of late At the drive-in, the anxiety of Eaves and the explosive power of Portraits of Past. Progressive with a punkrock attitude, borderlining between noise and silence, Dimitrij deliver twisted rhythms and unpredictable song structures with a melody or two hidden underneath. On stage they are always good for an extroverted, emotional live show.
