the fresnel story starts in july 2001 with a first 2-song demo, which was self released to have something to give away on a first short tour through east/south european countries. fire walk with me records came up with the idea to put one song for a compilation with division of laura lee, nikad, koufax, yage etc. in late 2002 a second tour followed for about 15 shows in the czech republic, in slovakia, in slovenia, in croatia and in austria - im mostly basements as well as on festival stages together with jr ewing, kaospilot, u$a is a monster or cataract. the last few months the boys tried to get rid of their endorphine by recording new songs for this present release: a dense conversation stopping program out of disharmonic guitar, rhythms, anti-ryhthms, breaks and painful vocals. definetely music one must listen to rather than mindlessly song along with right away.
