In September 2013, LEHNEN released their third album „I See Your Shadow“. It got pretty close to being released through NOISE APPEAL RECORDS. I’ve had my eye on this band since I first saw live back in 2011. But a lack of time and too many other projects made a 2013 release impossible – which only makes me happier now to extend a warm welcome to LEHNEN on NOISE APPEAL RECORDS.

Throughout the years, LEHNEN have developed their very own and unique style of Post-Rock and Ambient with great melodies and just the right amount of punch. Since their founding, LEHNEN has constantly worked hard on and off stage, which has (among other things) made it possible for them to release their 4th studio album one and half years after „I See The Shadow“.

The new album is called „Reaching Over Ice and Waves“, contains 9 new songs, and will be released on May 28th, 2015 through NOISE APPEAL RECORDS (2xLP & digital) and their very own label CLOUD CONTACT (cd). More details on the release will be published fairly soon. In the meantime, take a look at their video for their song „Draw What You Know“ (taken from „I See Your Shadow“): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ak_DaTcjsOI

LEHNEN will hit the road in May 2015 with the official release-show for „Reaching Over Ice and Waves“ taking place at RHIZ VIENNA on May 28th, 2015. Get more infos about LEHNEN through the following links:

In closing, I need to underline how happy I am to be able to publish these words as the band and I have met on a number of occasions and have been in constant communication for months now. Now, finally, this is getting released. It is official! And after having introduced you to LIKE ELEPHANTS last Friday along with LEHNEN today, I am more than proud to see my label taking another big step forward. These are the releases planned for the first half of 2015, but there is more in planning for the second. More news regarding those plans will follow sooner rather than later!
Cheers and thank you for keeping up with all of my news,
Dominik
